The annual Garden Tour is our major fundraising activity. Funds raised support our Scholarships and Grants programs. Each year, during the last weekend in April, six or seven beautiful Folsom gardens are showcased in a two day event that has become a local legend.
The Garden Tour includes a Bake Sale (always a sellout), and a Plant Sale too, plus artists painting in the gardens and Master Gardeners to answer your questions.
We provide grants for horticultural projects in Folsom. Since 2013, school gardens, the food bank, the zoo, a community garden, and local historical groups received grant funds from us.
Since 2005, we’ve awarded scholarships to college students studying horticulture or a related field, and have undertaken groundbreaking research and started their own businesses.
The Folsom Garden Club is offering two $500 scholarships each academic year for students pursuing an education in the horticulture and conservation fields.
Lending a helping hand in our community! From making cookies for the Senior Center to garden rehabilitation at the History Museum, we enjoy rolling up our sleeves and pitching in.
