Welcome to the Folsom Garden Club!
We are delighted to welcome you to the Folsom Garden Club website.
Our mission is to educate, inspire, and foster friendships among people who share a love of gardening and horticulture while promoting the beautification of the City of Folsom.
The Folsom Garden Club is proud to be an active part of our community. Our signature event is the Annual Folsom Garden Tour, held each year on the last weekend in April. This beloved event is our primary fundraiser and enables us to give back to our community in meaningful ways.
Throughout the year, our dedicated, passionate members volunteer their time and talents to a variety of community projects, including the Blue Star Memorial Rose Garden, Folsom Community Service Day in September, Folsom Zoo Holiday Lights, Folsom Zoo Holiday Tree Decorating, Gladys’ Garden, Senior Care Bags for Powerhouse Ministries, and a holiday toy donation for the California Highway Patrol. We strongly encourage our members to actively participate in the club by attending club meetings and club activities. Volunteering and teamwork are key to our very successful, accomplished garden club. Our club also participates in the Penny Pines Plantation Program and recognizes outstanding members through our Member Recognition Program.
Proceeds from our Annual Garden Tour fund grants for horticulture-related projects within the Folsom community, as well as scholarships for college students pursuing degrees in horticulture, environmental science, and related fields.
With approximately 150 active members—and a waiting list to join—the Folsom Garden Club is a vibrant organization where members enjoy learning, serving the community, and building lasting friendships.
We hope you enjoy exploring our website and learning more about all that we do. We’d love to welcome you to one of our monthly meetings as our guest, held on the first Thursday of each month at 10:00 am, from September through June, at the Rotary Clubhouse at the Lew Howard Park, 7150 Baldwin Dam Road in Folsom.
Thank you for visiting, and we hope to see you at a future meeting!
